Dual brake levers

Dual brake levers have quickly become standard equipment on polo bikes

The stopping power, better distribution of braking, finer control, and saving those rear tyres all have huge advantages over a single rear brake

I have been making up some dual brake levers for Polo players and have been using both the Caliper and V brake levers on different bikes. These dual brake levers are based on an Avid V/Disc or Tektro Caliper/BMX/Canti brake lever, they are comfortable to use and give a lot of stopping power.

Here are some photos of the Dual V/Disc brake lever

I am making up these complete levers for Polo players
- V / Disc brake levers come with the modified lever, dual barrel adjuster block and pin
- Caliper/Canti/BMX brake levers come with the modified brake lever, dual barrel adjuster block, and pin.

The Caliper/Canti/BMX brake levers are cheaper as there is a surplus of Left Hand Tektro brake levers available for free through the Bike Shed

Please email Jetnikoff Cycles at jetnikoffbikeco@gmail.com for a quote. Just let us know if you want a RHS or LHS brake, and what kind of lever: V/Disc or Caliper/Canti/BMX as they give different pull ratios and are a different brake lever

Sydney’s new ‘pick-up’ system

Sydney's new 'pick-up' board

Check out the pic of Sydney’s new trial system of sorting out games for pick-up sessions. The idea is to help out new players without mallets and reduce ‘doubling-up’ of some one using more than one mallet to sneak a few extra games in. Each player that comes down has a paddle-pop stick and magnet. Sticks are drawn out randomly for each team, then each game is easily posted up on a magnetic board for everyone to see. Easy to see your place with with 4 games back-to-back! Supplies purchase from the local stationary store for under $25 and it easily fits in a bag!
